The NAHB International Builders' Show wrapped up on February 19, 2026 with more than 75,000 attendees. We build the registration site, the microsites and the rest of the digital experience behind it, and have done for two decades.
ReadJust back from the 2025 NAHB National Association Management Conference where we sponsored the workshop for new executive officers and celebrated 75 years of the executive council. So glad we got the opportunity to meet this incredible group of people! We're already looking forward to next year.
Modern Signal wins contract for the redesign and development of AUCD.org, the website for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities. The new site will go live in Spring of 2024.
Modern Signal is pleased to work with Society for Development Biology again on the redesign of its website. The new site features a new and improved CMS, with versatile tools for highly-designed content.
Modern Signal has been awarded the contract to design and program the trainee portal for the Association for University Centers on Disability. The trainee public website -- a new addition to the already existing AUCD website -- will pull pieces of information currently spread throughout several AUCD online properties into one comprehensive website. The audience will be a network of trainees and graduate students from various AUCD centers.
Modern Signal is again partnering with Streetsense to program a new responsive design website for J Street Companies, a leading real estate services firm in Washington, DC. Responsive design is a design methodology that provides an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices without having to create separate mobile sites.
Modern Signal is again working with the National Center for Safe Routes to School to update and optimize their National Safe Routes to School Tracking & Reporting System. Plans are in place for a website redesign, navigation and information architecture changes and other usability optimizations. New features to include contextual help and a searchable library of help items, user dashboards with alerts, and a tagging system to facilitate reporting.
Modern Signal principals Eleanor Frias and David Hammond presented a webinar on March 27 for the Purse Strings Network. The presentation, Optimize Your Web Site for Desktop and Mobile with Responsive Design Without Starting Over from Scratch, covered responsive design and what it means to you and your content management system.
Modern Signal is soon to launch a new, much more powerful and effective membership database system for Omega Phi Alpha sorority. This important project for OPA is profiled in the Winter 2013 issue of their newsletter, Chevron.
Modern Signal principal Adam Polon will be speaking to the DC .Net Users Group on January 15 about his recent experience porting Modern Signal's Lighthouse CMS to the ASP.NET MVC framework.
Society for Developmental Biology selects Modern Signal to redesign and develop its association website. As part of this engagement, Modern Signal will create a responsive design for their site and build a custom member management database with front-end registration and renewal with e-commerce. This is SDB's second project with Modern Signal.
