The National Association for Law Placement (NALP) provides job seekers and law school administrators with detailed information about law organizations and their hiring practices through the annually updated Directory of Legal Employers.
For this project, we:
- Redesigned the site to address a younger audience, and incorporated social media hooks to Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter, to share content more extensively.
- Created extensive step-by-step data entry tools including e-commerce to make purchasing directory listings as easy for employers as possible.
- Combined what was formerly three sites into one, while still addressing distinct audiences by targeted content based on login.
- Implemented Lighthouse CMS on the back-end to manage content, user accounts, directory listings, school records, and e-commerce orders.
- Greatly expanded the purpose of user accounts, for user to manage favorites, saved searches, email notifications for organization updates, and stored employer contact information.
For employer involvement and data entry, the new site provides streamlined data entry, improved data validity, reduced support time required of NALP staff, and increased completion rates.
