Modern Signal, in partnership with StreetSense, is delighted to launch the newly redesigned J Street Companies web site. For this venture, Modern Signal developed new CMS templates to support the new responsive design. Additionally, we automated the creation of friendly URLs and programmed new content tools for easy management of the homepage slideshow and team directory.

Modern Signal is proud to announce the launch of the 2014 NAHB International Builders’ Show website. The site features responsive design, a custom content management system, and tradeshow tools to allow exhibitors to manage their virtual booth information. Attendee tools include education & event searches and new centrals pages for targeted segments of the home building industry.

Modern Signal is excited to announce the launch of Rack It Up! The site allows users to build a virtual dream, by adding clothing items from various clothing vendor websites into their Rack It Up accounts using a custom bookmarklet. Users can set sale alerts for their items and are notified when their clothing items match the sale alert criteria. Community features on the site allow users to browse and re-rack items, comment on and love items, and share items through Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Privacy settings allow users to keep their entire closet or certain categories within their closet hidden.

Modern Signal is the proud app developer for INQUIREhealthcare! This app allows users to find clinicians by name, location (including current geolocation), specialty and ranking. Results are viewable as a list or plotted on a map. The app was built using jQuery Mobile and PhoneGap (Cordova). Find the app in the
iTunes app store now and soon in the Android app store.

Modern Signal is again partnering with Streetsense to program a new responsive design website for J Street Companies, a leading real estate services firm in Washington, DC. Responsive design is a design methodology that provides an optimal viewing experience across a wide range of devices without having to create separate mobile sites.

Modern Signal is again working with the National Center for Safe Routes to School to update and optimize their National Safe Routes to School Tracking & Reporting System. Plans are in place for a website redesign, navigation and information architecture changes and other usability optimizations. New features to include contextual help and a searchable library of help items, user dashboards with alerts, and a tagging system to facilitate reporting.

National Association for Law Placement (NALP) opens the next data entry
cycle for their 2013 Directory of Legal Employers. This release contains
a number of enhancements completed by the Modern Signal team. These
include linking multiple geographic locations to
data for public directory search purposes, allowing multiple authorized
administrators on a single account, improved data entry interface,
additional back-end functionality to manage display of data entry
questions, and greater flexibility to the checkout process for a wide variety of work flows.
