Modern Signal completed the design and programming of GOLD, a subscription-based, early childhood assessment system used by Head Start, public, and private preschool programs across the country. This is a massive site with tools, activities and reports for parents, teachers and administrators.
The site features documentation tools, assessments, weekly planning forms, testing & training modules, and communications tools - all available in English and Spanish and an infrastructure to support new languages.
Extensive child, classroom, program and state tracking mechanisms are in place, as well as custom data mining tools and reports to synthesize that data.
With hooks into third-party systems such as ChildPlus and state-specific data systems, data can be shared and synced between GOLD and other systems in an automated fashion.
Back-end tools are also available for Teaching Strategies to manage subscriber data and access, process orders and renewals, and run financial reports.
