Here are some recent highlights of Modern Signal's work in creating custom website and mobile solutions for our clients. Featured here are work samples in website strategy, consulting, design (including responsive design), content management systems, and custom database and web application development (primarily in ASP.NET and ColdFusion).

February 2024

Modern Signal completes the redesign and programming of the National Housing Center (NHC) website. NHC, located within the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) headquarters in Washington, D.C., is a versatile event space for conferences, expos, receptions, and concerts. The site is powered by our Lighthouse CMS, giving administrators the autonomy to manage site content.

November 2023

We're so pleased to announce the launch of the Open Technology Fund website with a new design and WordPress content management system.  The new site will further OTF's important work in countering online censorship and repressive surveillance.

July 2023

Modern Signal launches the Builders Show 2024 site! In addition to boasting a new design, the site features a complete overhaul of the back-end CMS and admin tools for faster performance and easier maintenance.

Modern Signal wins contract for the redesign and development of AUCD.org, the website for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities. The new site will go live in Spring of 2024.

November 2022

So proud of our newest website launch of the Housing Policy Guide for Center for Community Investment, a non-profit working to counteract structural racism to ensure that all communities can unlock the capital they need to thrive.  With interactive worksheets, users can think through problems that may stall their projects and identify actions to affect progress and change.

Modern Signal completes the redesign of the NAHB International Builders' Show (IBS) website. We are honored to partner with NAHB for the 18th consecutive year to craft a great user experience for attendees, exhibitors, and media participating in the largest annual construction show in the world.

June 2022

Modern Signal is excited to announce the launch of netbeacon.com. This is our third project with Public Interest Registry (PIR) since working with them in 2020. This responsive site was built to conform to WCAG 2.0 Level AA and 508. The site is powered by a back-end CMS, giving administrators the autonomy to manage site content.

Modern Signal is pleased to work with Society for Development Biology again on the redesign of its website. The new site features a new and improved CMS, with versatile tools for highly-designed content. Check it out!
